Hi, my name is Martha Barnard and I am an incoming postdoctoral researcher in the Wharton Causal Data Science Lab at the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the University of Pennsylvania working with Dylan Small. I recieved by PhD in Biostatistics in May 2026 from the University of Minnesota where I was fortunate to be advised by Jared Huling and Julian Wolfson and supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. My research interests include the analysis of observational studies, causal inference, and methodology for mobile and wearable device data.
